Just keeps going and going...

I just got home from class and have now finished my 4 tests this week (well, one was a quiz, but those take just as much studying for and cause just as much stress!). Whew! Finally, I thought things would be slowing down after a busy weekend we had at Concordia and a crazy busy week of studying and tests---I don't think I went to bed before 11:00 any night this week because of those tests! But, NO life and homework will not be slowing down anytime soon. I have a paper to write, way too many more chapters in my textbooks to read, assignments due...
Anyway, I decided that I should take a breather and blog! ;)
Last weekend was great!!! Saturday was the first full day I took off of doing homework---well, with the exception of staying up 'til midnight trying to read a little bit more in my textbook!---and it was full of fun and family! My dad was inducted into the Concordia Athletic Hall of Fame for his golf. You can look here to see a picture the "inductees" at the banquet and their induction commencements (I think that's what it's called?). I'm getting ahead of myself, though, before the banquets there was so much more that we did! On Friday afternoon, we headed out to Grandpa Tingy and Grandma Shirley's house where we enjoyed a delicious meal and overnight stay...again with late night studying ;). The next morning when we arrived at the college, we went to visit my cousin Jenna at her dorm (two of our cousins, Aaron and Jenna, attend Concordia). We talked a bit while going around the campus and we saw Dave and Dorothy at their class reunion (my mom's uncle and aunt). We had sooo many relatives there...all our cousins, all aunts and uncles except one, both sets of grandparents, and our great uncle and great aunt...it was so much fun!
The parade was the first activity, where we got LOTS of candy and saw Dad in it throwing out candy!

(I just had to post this next one, because Dad looks so comfy in that nice car! :)

Then, Dad, being an inductee, recieved a lot of tickets for the Cobber Homecoming Football game as well as vouchers for the food there, so many of us sat for the first half of the game sipping hot chocolate. Then it got too freezing cold and we were getting numb, so after seeing Dad in the half-time show, we went to get ready for the evening banquet!

At the banquet we got pictures of all of the cousins! :)

(I tried to explain which fork to use for each course at the banquet to the guys, and they replied "say that again please???" ;)

I'm thinking that if you read through all of that, you have way too much time on your hands!!! ;) Speaking of hands, keep them washed well and often because the flu is hitting bad here! Today in class, the person behind me had a double ear infection and a sinus infection, the girl on my right had a kidney infection, and another person had her two kids and herself in the ER because they got so sick...she said they even put up a sign at the ER saying something like "Don't come in unless you feel like you're dying!" I'm thinking it was probably a little more sophisticated than that ;), but you get the idea! I think I better get some more sleep tonight to help me stay healthy!
That's all for now, folks!
