It's campaign season again at our house!
And I am loving it!
Last weekend Dad and I went down to our Congressional Convention.
He was a delegate and I was an alternate. (Actually I was elected alternate even though I wasn't at our county convention! Dad nominated me and they voted me in!)
We also had a table for people to come and get literature.
The people there were great! Dad was able to speak for a few minutes and when he went up there he was greeted with clapping and cheering. I was so proud!
In two weeks we get to go the the State convention.
On a side note:
It was very funny because people kept asking if I was Dad's campaign manager. When I told them that I was his daughter they didn't believe it. I guess Dad looks too young (or else I look too old!). But campaign manager is better than when people used to ask me if I was his wife! NO, he is my dad!
(Edit: Now I just found out that I am his campaign manager for the State Convention! So I guess I am his daughter and campaign manager, that is pretty good!)

Wow, Katelyn! This will be such an amazing experience. You have done more and had the opportunity to experience more in you life already than most people ever get to experience in an entire lifetime!
You go girl! :) I'm a bit jealous that you're getting all the fun, but I also know my life can't handle too much more "fun" right now:) I'd love to be doing this with you though!! :)
