Not Again!!!!!

They are back! I may have told some of you about my summer last year trying to destroy a MAJOR ant hill in our back yard.
It covered about a 4'x4' section of our back yard, and that was only what I could see above ground! Well, after many attempts and different brands of ant killer that you could by at the store, I decided to look online at different methods to get rid of ants.
There were many good ideas, but I don't think that the writers of these ideas had an ant problem of this scale!
So I decided why not try all the ideas at once!
My concoction:
Borax laundry detergent
Pepper
Vinegar
Hot water
You should have seen those ants go crazy!
Eventually I did get rid of them, but I am not sure which one of these things actually did the trick, but anyway, I was very excited to see that there were no ants in that spot this year...until now.
I was out watering our raspberry bushes that we planted this spring, and I was looking at the leaves wondering what in the world could be eating the leaves.
At that same time as this was going through my head, I feel this tickling on my foot, which is a feeling I know well from last year! I looked down and there was the biggest ant hill yet swarming around my foot! It was like a volcano erupting with ants and that is not an exaggeration! (Of course when I got mom to come and see it wasn't quite as bad, but that is the way it always works)
Here is the spot!
Quite hidden, you wouldn't even know it was there unless you stepped into it! My line of defense this time around. Do you know what this makes?
I am sure the ants were confused as to which season they were in when I poured the baking soda on the ground.
A sudden snowstorm?
I made a volcano of my own to try and get rid of the ants!
Later I will go see how it worked.
I will say it was quite funny to see tons of ants at the very tips of the grass trying to escape!
I will let you all know how this war with the ants turns out, because I am sure you are all wanting to know.
Now I feel like there are ants crawling all over me still.
Last year I even had nightmares about ants!
