4 dollars + 4 minutes

Katelyn and I were searching for DIY gems at the dollar store this morning and found the perfect supplies for this cake stand...

 

2 candlesticks, 1 plate, and 1 shallow bowl

 

...the four items needed for this four minute project (well, counting the glue and time to dry I guess it should be closer to 5 dollars + 5 minutes).  I've seen these done many different ways with various shaped dishes and colors, but for this one I wanted to stick with the simple white and glass and I love how it turned out.
