Vacation {Part 2}

Day 3

Museum Day.

After the stay in our favorite hotel in Kentucky, we packed up and headed out a few miles to the Creation Museum! We highly recommend it...it was sooo much fun and so educational!

---Just for a minute here, we want to back up to "yesterday"...the day we came into Kentucky and checked into the hotel. As we were checking in, Eliza thought to herself about the receptionist "Hmmm...wonder where she's from??" only to realize that the lady was probably wondering where we were from! Just imagine a thick southern Kentucky accent and you'll know what I mean! ;)---

Anyway...back to the museum...

The exhibits were done so well! We spent the entire morning and afternoon just taking it all in. We also visited the special effects theatre while we were there. What a surprise to be shaken in our seats and sprayed with water in the face!

Dad especially enjoyed the Dinosaur exhibits...just watch and you'll see!

After the museum, we hit the road in the late afternoon and got a couple more hours and a couple more miles out of the way. The landscape around there is definitely much different than up where we live! There were frozen water leaks out of the ragged rocky walls we drove through...fascinating...at least when you've been driving for the last few days. Don't get us wrong...we loved the whole trip including the car time! It was so relaxing to sit for hours with nothing needing to be done!

We spent the night in Tennessee.

Day 4

Our longest day on the road yet!

We ended up in Orlando, FL!

...Palm Trees...

...NO snow...

(there was actually snow all the way until we stopped at a cafe in the southern tip of Georgia!!)

...No winter coats...

...SUNSHINE!...

Here we stayed for 2 nights...

We even swam one night in an outdoor pool in the middle of winter!
